Home Farm Fest – Call for Artists
Our friends at School in a Bag are looking for artists/traders and exhibitors for their upcoming festival Home Farm Fest 10th – 12th JUNE 2022 at Chilthorne Domer, Somerset.
Looking for artists to run a new interactive area
The Home Farm Fest team will create an art wall enclosure for artists (with additional public interaction) to paint on the inner and outer wall. The team can create the walled enclosure but are equally happy to liaise with any artist that wants to take on the area to create the structure themselves so if this sounds of interest to you contact Luke Simon, organiser and CEO of School in a Bag and Home Farm Fest by Phone: + 44 (0)1935 849160 Mobile: +44 (0)7721 741623 Email: luke.simon@schoolinabag.org
Looking for artists who want to trade and sell their work
There is an established market area at the festival which attracts a lot of festival goers and they are keen to develop a creative trading area to sell art works or deliver small workshop activities. If this sounds of interest are you were also able to help run the art wall installation then the team would not charge you a pitch fee for trading and offer you a free family ticket for the 3 days including camping. If you just wanted to trade, that is no problem, you would need to fill out a market trader form via the following link https://homefarmfest.co.uk/trader-info or contact contact Luke Simon to discuss details by Phone: + 44 (0)1935 849160 Mobile: +44 (0)7721 741623 Email: luke.simon@schoolinabag.org
Looking for artists who want to exhibit large pieces of work/sculpture to have on show around the site
There is opportunity to show old or new pieces of work around various spaces on the site. PLEASE NOTE – this would have to be at the owners risk and to be discussed with the Home Farm Fest team prior to installation.
If any of the opportunities sound of interest to you please contact Luke Simon directly by Phone: + 44 (0)1935 849160 Mobile: +44 (0)7721 741623 or Email: luke.simon@schoolinabag.org

Can’t take part as an artist this year as an artist but want to go anyway? You can purchase your ticket here
In terms of installations – would there be any discount/offer for tickets for those installing?
Yes – if the installations provide a good spectacle for Home Farm Fest, then we can provide a free ticket. If an artist wanted to start trading and selling their work in the Market Area as well, then we would need to discuss a small charge as we have other Market Traders paying for pitches.
In an ideal world when is the earliest/latest you would like installations to take place on site and, what sort of help is available to artists when they arrive?
If we could get installations in on site on Wednesday 8th June that would be ideal. We will have plenty of volunteers on site to manually help unload things. If the installation is big, we have a tractor and foreboder on site and a tele handler so can move heavy items around.
Is the festival being documented through film/photo, if so would the artists have access to any photographs of their work after the event?
Yes – film and photo would be accessible to the artists after the festival.
