Courses

All courses at Clayhill Arts are for people aged 18 and above. Anyone below the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult who will also need to be enrolled on the same course.

You must attend courses on a punctual basis unless you are prevented by forces beyond your control.

Abusive or inappropriate language; threatening, bullying, disruptive or inappropriate behaviour towards staff or other clients will result in you being removed from the course. Course fees will be reimbursed in full or in part calculated on remaining time unused. We also reserve the right not to accept an attendee on future courses.

You must not bring any items of special value onto Clayhill Arts premises. Clayhill Arts will not accept responsibility for the loss of any personal possessions.

Attendees are strictly forbidden to use cameras or use camera functions on mobile devices in the studio whilst there is a model present in the studio. If this condition is breached, you will be required to allow staff to erase all images from the device.

No unauthorised recording of course content. Anyone found to be recording content may be asked to leave the course. Course fees will be reimbursed in full or in part calculated on remaining time unused. We also reserve the right not to accept a student on future courses.

Copyright of all course content whether studio based or online, is retained by the artist or Clayhill Arts and we ask you not to share access to this content with anyone.

All information, including but not limited to, lesson plans, videos, structures and handouts are for your sole use and are not to be shared or used in any form without the written agreement from Clayhill Arts.

Cancellations

Any cancellation needs to be made 4 weeks before the start of the course to guarantee a refund – this includes payments made through instalments.

Any cancellation for a future course will be reimbursed up to 4 weeks prior to the start of a course minus a £30 administration fee

Any cancellation after the 6-week deadline will not be reimbursed – this includes payments made through instalments

If cancellations are made for COVID 19 reasons, a credit note/slip can be issued for a future course within 2 years. We are not liable for additional costs incurred e.g. travel and accommodation.

If you experience symptoms or test positive during a course you will not be able to continue and it will be necessary to leave immediately in order to self-isolate in accordance with government guidelines. In some circumstances we may be able to make a credit note available for the time lost.

If possible, you are advised to take out insurance against loss of fees through illness or personal accident.
